Amundsen shows great form at World Cup 2026
Norway’s Harald Østberg Amundsen put together an excellent World Cup weekend in Goms, Switzerland, showing that his strong season continues. Racing against the very best in the world, Amundsen delivered solid performances in both sprint and distance racing — and did so wearing the newly designed Alpina Elite 3.0 ski boots. Amundsen looked calm, confident, and powerful throughout the challenging tracks and changing snow conditions.
Team sprint wins

Together with teammate Einar Hedegart, Amundsen skied to victory in the Team Sprint Free. The Norwegian pair controlled the race with fast, smooth skiing and strong exchanges, confirming Norway’s depth and strength in sprint events.
Podium in the mass start

Amundsen followed up the team success with a third-place finish in the 20 km Mass Start Classic. The long race demanded patience and smart positioning, and Amundsen stayed composed before pushing hard in the final part of the course to secure his place on the podium. Two races, two podiums — a clear sign of excellent form.
Designed to win

This season, Amundsen has been competing in racing boots developed for top-level performance and designed with a new, modern look that reflects Alpina’s future direction. The first model from this renewed line to reach the market is PRO BOA, combining contemporary design with proven functionality.
The BOA® Fit System allows fast and precise adjustment, ensuring even pressure distribution and excellent foot stability. A lightweight construction, rigid carbon support, and direct power transfer give skiers a precise feel on the snow and confidence in every push.
For athletes like Amundsen, this means equipment they can truly trust — whether accelerating in a sprint or settling into rhythm over long distances.
Looking ahead
Amundsen’s results in Switzerland underline his versatility and consistency. He continues to show that he can fight for top positions in very different race formats, and his performances in Goms provide strong momentum for the rest of the season.
A confident skier, strong results, and reliable equipment — a good combination as winter racing moves forward.
