Two races, two national titles
Last weekend at Pokljuka, Miha Dovžan once again proved he belongs among Slovenia’s top biathletes. He first won the sprint, then took the victory in the mass start race the following day. In Žiri, we cheer for him with special pride, as he has built his success in our shoes for years.
But races and podiums are only part of the story. Miha is away from home for months at a time due to training and competitions, which makes every free moment with his family that much more precious. With his longtime partner and son, they’re a team that simply doesn’t know how to sit still.
Discovering hidden corners with Alpina on their feet
Whenever they get the chance, they pack the van, load up the backpacks, and hit the road. No big plans, no overcomplicating things. Sometimes it’s just a quick afternoon escape to nearby forest trails, other times a whole weekend spent high up among the peaks. Where the road takes them isn’t really the point. What matters is being outside, in nature, together.
And wherever the path leads, they walk it faithfully in Alpina. After demanding races, competition shoes give way to the lightweight Boston 2.0, Breeze Summer, and the rugged Madeira 2.0. Three different pairs with one job: keeping pace with a family that explores all day long.
